Located in the foothills of the Santa Susana Mountains, Porter Ranch is a highly affluent suburban community within the northwestern San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles. Chatsworth is located to the south and west, Northridge to the south, and Granada Hills to the northeast and east. The Santa Susana Mountains, which separate the San Fernando Valley from the Santa Clarita Valley are directly to the north.

Porter Ranch, Hidden Hills, Calabasas, and Encino are the three most affluent communities in the San Fernando Valley. Parks in Porter Ranch include Palisades Park, Aliso Canyon Park, Rinaldi Park, Viking Park, Porter Ridge Park, Limeklin Canyon Park, Moonshine Canyon Park, and Holleigh Bernson Memorial Park.

North Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce

The North Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce (NVRCC) creates opportunities for entrepreneurs to meet, develop relationships, partake in professional development programs, and exchange business referrals. Every month members have the opportunity to participate in breakfast meetings, lunch meetings, educational events, and more. Participating members are from Northridge, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, Porter Ranch, Sylmar, North Hollywood, and the surrounding areas.

Neighborhood Council Meetings

There are currently 99 Neighborhood Councils in the City of Los Angeles, each serving an average of 40,000 people. A Neighborhood Council is an advisory body that advocates for their community on important issues affecting their neighborhood. Each council has a budget funded by taxpayer dollars.
