North Ranch – Westlake Village

North Ranch is an affluent community located within Westlake Village consisting primarily of large custom homes. North Ranch is home to the North Ranch Country Club which is a private member-owned golf and tennis club. North Ranch is south of the Simi Hills and west of Oak Park.

 

North Ranch Country Club

North Ranch Country Club is the absolute pride of Westlake Village offering 27 holes of golf, 12 lighted tennis courts, a 50,000 square foot main clubhouse with both a casual restaurant and fine dining restaurant, and a separate tennis clubhouse. The championship golf course was designed by Ted Robinson and developed in 1976. North Ranch Country Club is family oriented and offers a complete year-round schedule of great social activities. North Ranch Country Club offers a spectacular view of Simi Peak which rises to 2,403 and stands directly north of the club.

 

North Ranch Tennis

North Ranch Country Club in the North Ranch area of Westlake in Ventura County offers its members twelve professionally lighted tennis courts which are adjacent to the golf course, and a tennis clubhouse. The club offers fine dining, banquet facilities and a year round schedule of activities.

 

North Ranch Open Space

The North Ranch Open Space consists of approximately 2,614 acres of protected open space. It is owned primarily by the Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency (COSCA) with a few smaller areas under private ownership. The main access point is at the North Ranch Playfield which is west of Lindero Canyon Road and south of Kanan Road in Thousand Oaks. Other access areas are from Lang Ranch Parkway in Thousand Oaks and from the end of Falling Star Avenue in Westlake Village. A stream meanders through the area and wildlife is abundant.

 

North Ranch Playfield

North Ranch Playfield is a 12 acre park in the North Ranch area of Westlake. The park features two tennis courts, two soccer fields, two softball fields, a volleyball court, outdoor basketball court, picnic tables, barbeques, children’s play area, and plenty of open space with views of the surrounding hills and mountains. The park is located adjacent to a natural creek.

 

Westlake North Property Owners Association

The Westlake North Property Owners Association represents property owners in the North Ranch area of Thousand Oaks. This area is commonly referred to as "Westlake Village North Ranch." The Westlake North POA is based at the North Ranch Community Center.

 

North Ranch Neighborhood Park

North Ranch Neighborhood Park is a 12 acre community park in the North Ranch area of Westlake Village. The park is adjacent to a natural creek and has many large oak and native sycamore trees. North Ranch Neighborhood Park features picnic areas, a basketball court, children’s play area, and lots of open space for walking or hiking.

 

North Ranch Center

North Ranch Community Center

The North Ranch Center, located in the Westlake area of Thousand Oaks, is a first class venue for weddings, bar mitzvahs, anniversary celebrations, and other memorable events. It is a special place that will accommodate up to 150 guests. The facilities and location are beautiful by any standards.

 

Lindero Canyon Creek

Lindero Canyon Creek is a creek whose headwaters start in the hills of Oakbrook Regional Park just north of the North Ranch area of Westlake Village. The headwaters form two tributaries that meet in the North Ranch Open Space, southwest of the North Ranch Country Club, where Lindero Canyon Creek is formed. From there the creek flows south and becomes the primary source of water for Lake Lindero in Agoura Hills.
