Mobile Home Types

There are three types: Single-wide, Double wide, and Triple-wide. Each offers unique qualities and can suit different lifestyles and budgets.

Single-wide mobile homes are the simplest and most affordable option you'll find. They are typically long and narrow, usually about 18 feet wide or less. They're compact, easy to tow, and great for one or two people.

The kitchen, living room, and dining area are usually all connected in one open space, with one or two bedrooms and a bathroom located in at the back end.

Because of their size, they cost less to buy and maintain, which makes them a good choice if you're intending on becoming a homeowner while on a budget or just need a small place to live. They're also easier to move than larger homes so if you ever need to relocate your home site, its much easier.

Double wide mobile homes are taking two single-wide homes and putting them together to make one bigger, wider space. Instead of a long, narrow layout, you get a floor plan that feels more like a traditional home, with separate areas for living, dining, and sleeping.

These homes tend to have two or three bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, and much larger living spaces. The extra room makes a big difference, especially if you have a family or just want more privacy between rooms.

If you need plenty of space to spread out but still want the convenience and affordability of a mobile factory-built home, triple-wide homes are the top choice.

Inside these homes, you'll find multiple bedrooms, a large kitchen, extra bathrooms, and sometimes even a bonus room that can be used as a den or office.

The finishes are usually more upscale with better flooring, modern appliances, and stylish layouts that feel more like a luxury home.
